Lynda Courses

I was using Lynda.com as an educational source. I have a mixed revue of how the classes are.

Some classes are basic building blocks involving for me what is in Photoshop. There are some
great pointers depending on what you need.

Other classes are taught by people who sold very good Photoshop technical books. But
those courses are often run throughs on how to do a project. So there is a bit of a sales
com'on to upgrade to the pro membership with the templates for doing any of the projects.
I found these courses were never on the mark for what I needed to get done.

Now the really nice news. I went to cancel my membership today. My membership ran
Aug 22, 2014 through Nov. 22, 2014. I called up the service to cancel. They were beyond
nice. Lynda without asking refunded Oct. 22 to Nov. 22 without questioning it. This was
just good business. Without a question I will recommend them, and use them again in
the coming years for small periods of time if I have any classroom needs online.

The refund was $25, the basic membership monthly rate.

I used Lynda a couple of times when learning Adobe Illustrator and InDesign and had a good experience.

When I purchased Adobe Illustrator CS5 I got a free month of membership and I made good use of the classes on Illustrator. They were a big help to me in learning the software.
