Sponsoring A Page

When you sponsor a page & your photos are at the 3rd line...is it everyone that can see it at the 3rd line or only a select few that can see it? What are some other public places that you have posted to sponsor?
I posted on my twitter https://twitter.com/jeanzers22 but I only have 4 followers. Are they the only ones that can see it? I am sponsoring cities. I am not big into twitter yet, what would be another/larger audience to post the link?
Has sponsoring helped with people seeing or buying your work?

You should post to a personal website or blog, not social media. Sponsoring on Facebook is different from Sponsoring on the 3rd line on FAA!

your one of many with the same word, so you might be there now, but not later, reload and you might be back. its like one slot in a revolving door. keep in mind that the link you put up in public only goes to the search engine and you still may not be there. your better off linking directly to your image. this site still gets a link, it doesn't confuse google, and people will find you. no one on twitter will see it. because you need a live link. and if your only sending them the search page you won't get hits that way. you want more followers by the way. many people sponsor cities, it would have to be rare one to really be seen.

its hard to say if sponsoring helps or not, i did it at first, but because you need each substrate - poster, acrylic, duvet etc - it makes it worthless to use. further every generation and sub-generation this site has - pixels, earthporn, etc - aslo needs its own sponsoring as well. so you could spend all your time just doing that. best to send them your actual work.

Jessica when I look at people who are selling their work...majority have not even started one blog at all at least through FAA. I am for an audience I can reach who doesn't have to be connected to me, know me, another artist who is trying to do the same. I would like to try & post it in a general area to attract more to my website & photos
Thank you Mike & Jessica for your thoughts
I know promotion is the way to go but how? what if you dont have a large audience & you just want to post something in a general area like hey check me out. does money have to be involved for that? Or if you want an audience from a different area. Like people in a different state or country. I know they can look up me by chance but how do I reach out on purpose not by them finding me?
I do a lot of trial & error ways but nothing has really been successful in the buyers market...I may just be bad at sales haha. Most of my audience are other artist...which are trying to do the same of selling not buying. Complements to each other of course. I just need a little more knowledge on contacting b/c my promoting isnt working obviously

You cannot sponsor on a social media page. It will not work.

when you advertise - you can't have a small audience. unless you know that audience has lots of money, wall space and is a dedicated fan of your work. you need to put it up in front of main eyes as possible.

i have twitter stuff in some of these:

Katie, As I wrote above it will work on your personal website or blog if you have them. Not an FAA blog but something like Wordpress etc.
Mike, Katie is talking about sponsoring in the FAA search.

Just post a link to the artwork page somewhere on the internet which is not a social media site, a flash site, iframed site, nor your site with us,...It must be in the HTML area of that site. If unsure please ask your site host.

I started a free weebly webpage mainly in order to list links. As a bonus I do get traffic on it too. I think you can do 20 sponsorships per page.
