A Bit Un Democratic

One thing about forums they are not too democratic

I guess some people don't like freedom of speech and democracy, bit like the bureaucrats in Brussels :-)

just gonna leave this right here.

Forum Rules

7. Please leave your religious and political arguments at the door. If you wish to discuss these topics you may in a special group, Everything in Moderation run by Sydne. Subjects can broach onto these subjects if about art. Life subjects are fine.... animals, climate, etc but leave all arguments at the door.

As Bonfire mentioned, the forum is not a democracy.

This has nothing to do with art, and likely this thread will be closed, too. Not because I said it should be, but because you are breaking the rules.

it has to do with politics. better to cut it down early.

I've just commented on a discussion on the subject in the everything in moderation group.

That topic is inherently political. no way to discuss it without addressing that.
And, the forum is definitely not a democracy. Someone else owns it, codes it, moderates it, and makes the rules. It's more of an oligarchy, but with a benevolent controlling class. ;)

You know... though there was this ripple going throughout the world... I still found my way to the coffee pot this morning and the coffee still tasted as good as ever. Thank God... er... a higher power. (Can I say that?)

Reading the rules will tell you we do not allow politics on the forum. Can't get more political than this can you.
