Hello everyone, I joined yesterday on fineartamerica to share my photos. I would ask your feedback about these. Forgive my English, but I'm Italian . Thanks!

Very nice landscapes, Fabio.

A few crooked horizons (Sunlight, Lighthouse...) but no criticism intended because one never knows if that was the photographer's intention.

Do you intend to upload more? If so, you might want to augment the titles so you don't have a bunch with the same title.

Welcome to FAA !

i think you should charge more, and add better descriptions. i would add keywords that related to the locations if there are mountains and such.

Sell Art Online
for example, all your keywords are generic. the description, that is your keyword, try to describe the lighthouse better, put it in your language and english.

Sell Art Online
watch your compression, i see a fine compression issue in the sky, looks a bit blocky, it should print though.

method wise etc all that looks fine, the keywords are important though, you want to not be generic, and point out locations, put them in your own language etc. the more unique it is, the higher your chances are to be found. maybe be a bit more wordy in your bio as well.

Ok, thank you all for your feedback. I will try to enrich the description of the photo.

I like the colors a lot. The lighting is extremely good.

Much of the time I see two focal points, the horizon and the object on the ground below the horizon. I am a firm believer in putting the second focal point into the sky.

To me this is the most successful shot you took, not necessarily commercially the most successful. We barely have a clue what will sell.

Art Prints

The focal points are not on the ground or the water, but the sky.

Thanks a lot Dave for your advice.

Beautiful landscapes! You should never use the same title twice! It can cause distortion, Also be a little more descriptive with your titles. Mention the location for example, not just in the description. You want to be more specific for search purposes also.

Fabio I can't comment on the technical but your images are beautiful! Stick with it!!!

Very nice stuff!

Make sure you fix those titles. Using the same titles will give the system fits.

I may even go so fare as to suggest you delete, not edit, every one with a duplicate title and totally upload them again from scratch.

You may want to think of titles like Sunset at Pismo Beach California (or where ever the photo is taken) and then put the title in the keywords. That way you have less chance of duplication in the future and you have seeded your keywords.

I have made that mistake twice in the past and to this day I can not get those images straightened out. I finally just gave up on them.

Fabio,

The quick way to move the focal points.

Put the focus on the horizon, mid way or below the mid part of the frame. Then tilt the back of the camera ever so slightly down.

Believe it or not I have never held a camera of my own, but I see what I think the best photographers here are doing with the focal points.

There is one major exception as a photographer to this who shots NYC and surrounding garden scenes and does absolutely great work. She shall remain unnamed.

Excellent work and use of light, look forward to seeing more! Good advice above re titles, descriptions and keywords so search engines have data to work with

I personally Love EVERYTHING.... the only problem I have, and it is just a personal thing, is the sun's rays..... They don't look right too me. I think they should be softer. But as I say, my own personal viewpoint.

Generally nice. Kind of confusing though. Not sure what you are doing. Skies look a bit like they were shot with film and then were hit with a luminosity slider or something. The clouds in the background look a lot better than the than the detail in the foreground. Back-focus issues? This is technical stuff and the easiest to fix. You have the hard part (aesthetics) down. I love your subject matter.

In recent days I couldn't update my gallery because my PC has failed. I hope to do it soon.
However thanks a lot to everyone for the answers and advice :)

Fabio, I think you should know that the ones who are critiquing your work often find major faults in the work of most other photographers who've asked them for a critique. The positive feedback you are receiving from these folks should be considered high praise, and rightfully so. Your work is beautiful!

Kathleen is right, Fabio. I'd like to add that while other photographers may nit-pick, the buying public will be thrilled with your gorgeous images! Hope to see more.

Thank you so much Kathleen and Patricia! I'm flattered by your words!
