I emailed him to inform him that I don't sell my originals. I also suggested he view my Instagram page(www.instagram.com/CharNicoleGallery) to see if he liked any of my other paintings that I would display on here to be sold.
This is his lengthy reply.
Dear Char,
First thanks for taking time out in responding to my email inquiry
about your paintings, also sure you are in the best of health and
conditions? Also i have to apologize for my late reply to your email,
as not only because of the nature of my job currently working offshore
on the rig as an Engineer but also i have been having problems getting
good access to the internet. I am really looking forward to the
prospect of building on a great business relationship with you and
purchasing your paintings.
I currently live and work in Singapore and hoping i would deal
directly with you as I am new to this and would like us both being
involved in every process and progress made as also i intend tapping
into this new opportunity of the art business down here, also because
of the nature of my job i am barely signed up to any of the social
networking websites so i cannot view your painting also i cant really
say the particular paintings of your that appealed to me or caught my
attention on Fine Art America, all i knew was that I fell in love with
your paintings and said to myself it would be a privilege purchasing
from you, so please kindly assist me with the selection of
paintings/artworks in your portfolio that you are currently willing to
sell and also not only are you aware of paintings currently available
for sale/shipping but also you are aware of the ones that are not for
sale, and also know their sizes/prices and it would be a lot easier.
So please do go ahead by sending me details of the paintings i.e the
names, images attached in jpg.format, sizes and price list of the
paintings currently available for sale then i can proceed with my
selection as i am looking at purchasing between 2-5 paintings from you
for a start.
Finally i also implore you to find out about the cost of shipping
paintings into Singapore, though i would also ask around from my
colleagues who have shipped internationally in the past on the best
shipping option plus how best to deal with customs clearance/taxes.
Await your next email, so i know how to move forward.
Regards
