Tried To Enable Twitter Again

you don't need to enter numbers there. its for security only, not needed. and you may be entering the number in a wrong format. like adding dashes, or leaving out an area code.

No Mike.. I have done this every way you can imagine, even put the one in for long distance. If I don't have to enter the number, how do I get on Twitter.?

I just checked my account, and the phone number is listed with a "1" in front, then a space and the full number with area code (no hyphens), in case that helps.

I look at this way.....if a social media makes not a cent for years on end and POSSIBLY never will......where will it be a few years from now?

I then look at it another way...if a social media is not for shopping....why would I have any use for it?

The answers two those two questions are not cut and dry. They are not black and white. The questions are only for weighting.

you just do. twitter and facebook are always asking for it. not everyone has a phone. just blank it out and skip it.

Tony - is the number you used a land line? Twitter wants a mobile number.

i don't remember ever having to enter any numbers of any kind. i really don't think you have to.

Try without putting a number then, as Mike suggests. A land line will not work.

I never give my phone number to twitter, I just sign in with my user name and password. Easy! They don't want a landline, they ask for a mobile phone number but you don't need it to sign in!
