This is my favorite of the week. So much going for this shot. The legs in the air, the snow flying and of course the eye looking. Great!

Here's my favorite, I love the horse play, and this was very well painted too.

Such wonderful art here, horses take me to a better place in this crazy world. They captivate me, and the rest of the world just disappears for a while. Oh if only to be able to stay in that moment together, to run the badlands of North Dakota on a Nokota wild one who comes and chooses me, and off we ride! I have studied with Monty Roberts and have successfully had wild roaming packs come to me and "fall" in line in order of rank. It was astonishing to experience in the deep snowy Applegate region of Southern Oregon. A magic I will never forget and proof that gentle join-up is the only way to communicate, and listen to the horse by watching it's signals or by just feeling it if you are so lucky. Thanks for having this amazing group, I'm sure already that it's my fav! Jymmi Sparkz ;^)

Wow Jymmi,

That is so Awesome to have experienced all that!

Back years ago, my daughter was training a Mare, and we watched allot of Monty Roberts... she used many of his methods.
We met him at a big ordeal in Salem Ore. He was a headliner, along with several other famous people.... but Monty took time to talk
to Brittany and sign her schedule pamphlet. They had so many things going on at that show, it was just crazy... horses of all types
there to do demonstrations, people selling everything horse related, raffle to win a horse... so many things I just cant remember
it all.
Something else you said caught my eye... you mentioned the badlands... I have wanted to ride there for more than 30 years...
We drove through a little bit of North Dakota, and a bit of South Dakota, and from the window of the truck, I fell in love with the countryside
and have wanted to go back ever since. Later I saw a clip in Dances with Wolves, where they showed the badlands at the edge of the prairie,
I have watched that movie better than 20 times and have been obsessed with it ever since. Just a few people and a few horses, and take the whole summer to just explore....

Well anyways, I'm rambling... Welcome to the group =)
I have lots of fun stuff planned so be sure to
keep an eye on us =)

Here is my favorite of the week. It reminds me of all the wild horse books that I use to read on the bus riding home from school.
