Can't Post An Event

This is a free event, and I keep getting a red warning message that I must type X,XXX.XX in the box.

I have typed it, copied and pasted it, many times, and each time I hit the submit button, the same red message reappears, and the comma has been erased during the submission process. I have refreshed the page, emptied my cache and even tried to post on the computer at the library. Nothing works.

Would really appreciate some help. Thanks.

Thanks for the quick reply Beth. I have used the / as you suggested, but the same message keeps coming up:
"WARNING:
Please enter the REGISTRATION FEE as X,XXX.XX"

I have tried to post my event 4 times and as soon as I hit submit, it vanishes and takes me to create an event, you haven't created any new events ! It's not for lack of trying What's Up ?
