Problem "sponsoring" A Page Here On Faa

Posted by: Lianne Schneider on 09/13/2012 - 1:15 PM

Hi Beth -

I'm having a problem sponsoring pages here...specifically "seascapes." I get an error message that says I don't have any images with that tag, go back and add that and return and try again. I have checked all the images that would qualify as seascapes and in some cases moved the tag up to the front and in others did have to add it. But the tag is definitely on each image. I've logged out and back in to double check and the tags are there. Yet when I return to the search for seascapes and attempt once again to "sponsor" that page, I get the same error message, saying I have no images marked with that tag. I've tried it using a different browser as well and still no luck. Can you suggest what else I might do? Here's one of the images you might want to check.

Thanks so much,
Lianne Schneider

The delay is 24 hours. The search engine updates itself every morning at 3:00 AM (Eastern US Time).

try again tomorrow :)

I have an additional problem - if I search "seas digital art" quite a number of my images come up but the link to one of them is broken apparently and I get a message that says the page doesn't exist. That is for the image "Port of London - Circa 1840" - all the other links appear to be fine but that one doesn't work. It's not a new work, not newly edited or changed, and if I click on the thumbnail from my portfolio, plainly the image is there. So it's just not linking correctly from the search.

Thanks for the very quick answer Beth - I really appreciate it. I'm working to update a number of my own personal sites and want to promote FAA and my portfolio here so sponsoring pages seemed a good way to do that aside from moving my work up in the internal search.

Lianne, which image is it so we can backtrace it? I mean the link to it....

I think I mentioned the name of the image in the post - Port of London - Circa 1840 -

These responses seem to be out of order so I hope I'm answering the right one about the broken link.

How absolutely lovely of you Beth - I'm so honored by that beautiful comment I could cry. This is all pretty new to me to tell you the truth but I'm learning.

Thank you just doesn't seem like enough to say - but my gosh, thank you!!
