No sooner was Jeeves unloaded from my truck at the Arizona State Fairgrounds, He was invited to attend the Wine and Art Festival at the same Location. He Happily accepted the invitation. I will be allowed to attend. It pays to have a friend like Jeeves!
Jeeves now carries a nice Wine Bottle and two nicer glasses, but the picture My Daughter took shows a terribly bright light right behind him, so I posted this one instead.
In Honor of this invitation, Please post any artwork pertaining to Wine, Butlers, Wine Glasses, Grape Still life artwork etc...
Sounds like the right venue to display your statue. I hope it generates some sales. So what's the lowest commission you would take each, if you sell 10,000 to crate and barrel?
$100 each, times 10,000 would be a nice round figure, eh?
Minnie... I'd Love to see it...Can you post a link?
Gregory... I'm hoping to attract someone who is capable of mass-producing Jeeves for the public. There have been so many that want one, I want to make it available and not too expensive. The company I was working with kinda dropped out... He was more interested in keeping up with his current lines which I totally understand. I have a feeling this venue may spark an interest.
LOL...Elizabeth!! Paint it...Don't drink to much of it...LOL
Rich... Here in Arizona he would sell about everywhere... Hmmmmm Walmart... Monday I am going to call the CEO... Someone left a Shopping cart in my yard...and I called the local store to come pick it up...Nothing happened.... I called them again...they transferred me to a line that no one answered... I called them back and made them take a message...I told them that if it wasn't gone in a week, I would cut it up and turn it into a Sculpture.... Nothing.... I went to the store... Told them in person... Gave them the address... The Fool thing is still here...
Now... I bet if I cut it up and made a sculpture, They'd sue me, so I'm going to go to the top and have some fun...If it's still here in 7 days...Chop Chop!!
Next to Homeland Security guys, you don't want to mess with WalMart!
Here's an assignment: Find out how much materials and labor would cost to make "X" numbers of this Jeeves guy. And then get 3X, 10 X and 100X numbers and where it would be made. Once you have these, somebody like Bed,Bath and Beyond might talk to you. You would have to contact the Purchasing dept. and probably submit all kinds of stuff and numbers, but you would have a unique product and then other interesting side products from that. It would have to be designed so that it breaks down and fits in a box and assembled, maybe 3 sections. Target may also be a market. If you got it really cheap and made in China, even WalMart might be interested.
I hope it works out well for you Dan, Jeeves would certainly be a good conversation piece at a party or function, and very functional also. A mobile phone battery charger with a variety of phone power connections would be a good addition also.
Andee...Jeeves says Thanks... I think I'll hassle Wal mart for a while first...LOL
Rich... I have a breakdown and schematic for production of a dis-assembled piece already, just need to negotiate with a local manufacturer to take on the work.
Andee... I'm actually getting quite hungry...and thirsty also...What a spread!!!
Debra... If I get to chop it...I'm thinking about a large tree sculpture... I'll let you know... At first I thought that was a Photo, but after looking Closer I see it's a Painting...Wow... A Favorite!!
Michael...Good Ideas... I'm hoping to get the Peoples Choice award at the fair...
