I would like to start by sending well-wishes to everyone on a beautiful upcoming holiday season! It's hard to believe Turkey Day in America is next week! Where did the year go? Though I spent half this year overseas, away from home, you are all heroes in my mind!
May you and your families embellish in love and warm cheer this holiday season.
Thank you Jeffrey fro you holiday wishes and for your service to this country. My wife and I are in N.C. visiting for two weeks with my daughter's family. We are celebrating three birthdays, Thanksgiving and Christmas during this time. My son in law will be deploying again soon so we wanted to get the holiday celebrations before deployment.
Thank you for your service Jeffrey,
Today, Hubby and I work the the Scottsdale Pavilions Gallery. This whole month has been filled
with Veterans art, and I'm telling you, I was amazed at the caliber of talent that came in. It blew me away!!.
The Veterans filled the gallery with about 200 wonderful works of art and non of them had to be juried in.
At our reception we had the Luke field honor guard with the Arizona Buffalo Soldiers. What a time that was.
not a dry eye in the place. So Jeffrey, I want to say thank you again. You all deserve our love.v
Happy holidays to everyone, and thanks, Jeffrey for your service. This will be my first holiday season as an "orphan". Although my parents were in their 90's, it's still seems weird that the won't be here...it will be very quiet, which is ok too.
Thank you, Jeffrey for your warm thoughts. I would also like to join in thanking you and other service(wo)men for protecting our country.
I am looking forward to this year's Thanksgiving when my two adult children and their families will be joining us. Because they both live out of state, these gatherings are precious and few. I am a lifelong resident of Plymouth, Massachusetts where the Thanksgiving celebration is huge here. The festivities begin tonight with a free patriotic concert featuring the US Navy Band followed by a parade, food and craft pavillions tomorrow.
