Beth,

First of all, thanks for all the work you do to make FAA run.

Second, how do you report artists who blatantly abuse keywords? A painting of prostitutes is showing up when I search for cats and kittens--and no cat or kitten is in sight in this artwork. upon closer inspection, this guy has horses, dogs, ocean, birds, etc. in his keywords and they are irrelevant to the image.

Thanks in advance.

Posted by: Glenna McRae on 04/20/2013 - 9:22 PM

Beth, I have read the information on Bots and realize that they are important but I still have a concern about Beijing, China coming into my site so often. Gangzhou is on the list But is Beijing a Bot??? Hope I am posting this into the right discussion!!! Thank you!

We do not sell notecards I am afraid, but the greeting cards are not added to it at present. That may be done shortly :)

Posted by: Marjorie Stone on 04/17/2013 - 7:03 PM

I was wondering how you can contact someone to find out how to have greeting cards/note cards added to your selling in the iFrame Widget.

Help ;O)
One of my contest members removed his images from his gallery... Forgot that they were in a contest. He put them back but they don't show up in the contest. And his image is currently first place. Is there a way I can fix this myself? It is currently in the voting stage.

http://fineartamerica.com/contests/photoart-challenge-number-3--anything-goes.html?tab=overview

Thanks for any help with this... just in case you can help here are the 2 images that need to be added back to the contest...

Hi There! I am another new member w a question. So far no luck finding the answer. I would like to use my Facebook pages to promote my art as well as my group members. Currently my FAA is linked to my sports photography page http://www.facebook.com/Flatlandsfoto. My shop is also linked to that page. I started a new "Art" Facebook page (so my sports photography clients dont get overwhelmed) and would love to link my FAA page and shop to that. Is there any way to do that? My new page is http://www.facebook.com/FlatlandsfotoArt. Any advice is appreciated!!

Thanks bunches!

I found a number of fineart emails in my spam folder today - and some from people I've talked with before. As I normally just delete that folder every day or two, I cannot go back and check it. It just so happenned today my sister sent something and I finally found it there. If anyone emailed to me and didn't get a response, I apologize. I'll try to fix it.

Posted by: Abbie Shores on 09/25/2009 - 6:42 AM

HEADSHOT IMAGE WONT CHANGE

Yes, it is your cache on your computer.

Here are a couple of quick methods for seeing it imediately...

1. Go off the page and empty your browser cache. When you go back you should see it.
2. Hit F5 a couple of times. You should see it.
3. Right click on the image and View Image, refresh that page, hit your back button and hit refresh. You will definitely now see it.

:)

(Have added this to the Images menu above :) )

Hi Beth,

Do you know if anyone else has had this problem loading headshots: I delete the current image, no problem there. I can upload the correct photo, everything seems fine, I hit Okay... and the Old Photo appears again! I have gone in and out of the website to make sure I am properly deleting the old photo, but when I upload a different photo, the old one comes back!

Hi Beth,

Thanks for the help. Whenever I get lost at FAA, I always refer to your FAQ.

Good day and Happy Painting always :) Dindin

email accounts at fineartamerica.com and they will cancel it. Make sure you let them know what you want cancelled.
If you want to close your account at FAA totally, even the free one, email the same address (subject: account cancellation) and they will take everything off for you.

This is on the actual site FAQ page at http://fineartamerica.com/frequentlyaskedquestions.html which is for all the gallery stuff

Hi Beth!
I've been a member of FAA about a year now and am just discovering some of these great discussions! I'm a slow and distracted learner.. Thanks for this discussion! It has some invaluable information that I will continue to refer to. Having a great need to get my art out in the world, (like us all), this really helps me see FAA as a great tool, in multiple ways, to make that happen. Thanks for posting such an infomative and helpful FAQ's1

Posted by: Helen Wong on 09/05/2009 - 3:19 AM

It's very helpful and practical. The bookmark also is convenient. Thanks for your smart idea, Beth.

Posted by: Greg Coffelt on 08/30/2009 - 6:58 PM

Hi Lissa, just wondering if you could explain that all again....I don't get it.
