1930s Paintings
The 1920s were a period of explosive and expansive creative energy, and so was the 1930s. Yet, the character of that energy was fundamentally different. The motifs explored in the 1930s tended to center around values of essential features of life. Even though the world had grown distinctly colder in the shadow of the Great Depression, our paintings depicting the period are true to its spirit, nurturing the best and brightest of humanity.
