Madhubani Paintings
Paintings done with fingers, twigs, brushes, nib-pens and matchsticks while using natural dyes and pigments are known as the Madhubani method. These pieces are created for ritualistic purposes such as marriages, births, festivals or traditional ceremonies. We have more than 500 of these pieces in this collection that features animals such as birds and elephants, portraits of women and mythical creatures like mermaids and sorceresses.
