Raised in California, Spain and both Old and New Mexico, Diane continued her nomadic life as an adult living overseas in Latin American and the Middle East as a U.S. Foreign Service spouse. Because of that varied exposure she has a somewhat eclectic body of work. From 1978-1990, painting as Diane Haladay, she had numerous exhibitions in El Salvador, Washington DC, Virginia, North Carolina, Jordan, and Honduras.
