Tom and Scott, two self taught (and learning everyday!) photographers live on the tip of Michigan's Keweenaw peninsula, a 45 mile spit of ancient rock surrounded by the majesty of Lake Superior. Scoured clean by the last ice age, the Keweenaw is a geologic and nature lover's paradise, exposing 1.1 billion year old layers of basalt, conglomerate, and sandstones, covered by a thin layer of stony soil that supports a diverse boreal flora and fauna.
