I grew up in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. This picturesque place has definitely shaped the way I view the world. I spent many of my summers with my Grandfather on his farm. We would go out to feed the cows, and mid way through whatever he was doing he would stop, point out a tree, and say 'look at how beautiful that is'. It didn't matter if it was tree, the mountains, a deer, or just another one of his cows, he saw the beauty. This taught me to take the time to stop and appreciate the beauty of everything around me.
