Brilliant and Bold.....I have been painting, cutting, sewing, assembling, and creating from early childhood. My art practice says a lot about who I am and how I see the world. The best thing anyone ever said about one of my paintings was this: 'When I look at your painting it just makes me feel happy'. That's enough for me. For several years I worked with textiles and a Bernina sewing machine, creating applique and machine embroidered pictures. I much prefer painting now but still use a sewing machine to work on paper sometimes. My work...more
