When I think of my artistic life, I picture a colorful map with the bright blues and greens of the Pacific Northwest calling attention to my childhood in Portland, Oregon and then my undergraduate years in English Literature at the University of Washington in Seattle. Alongside my studies, I dabbled in oil and pastel but found a major creative outlet in photography, focusing on landscapes and animals.
