Daniel Irven Shuford Jr was born in Yancey County, NC on June 7, 1941 and died in Marion NC on December 11, 2008. Dan Shuford was Married to Joy Queen Shuford and was a son of the late Daniel Irven Shuford Sr. and Georgia Anna Creson Shuford. He was a retired building contractor and was past president of McDowell Builders Association. He was an artist, an avid hunter and was a life member of NRA. Dan loved hunting, nature and animals.
