Jim Clewell has been making his living as an artist since the age of 18. He is mainly self-taught having shown exceptional talent even as a young child. His formal training was at the Baum School of Art in Allentown, PA. Jim's art experience is quite varied. In 1972 he supported himself while on a six-month tour of Europe entirely through the sale of his drawings while there. It was this experience that helped him decide to make his art his occupation.
