I grew up in Sampson County a rural part of North Carolina; it was then and still is a farming community. I spent a lot of my time outdoors working, fishing and hunting. This may be what led me to attend North Carolina State University and obtaining a degree in Natural Resource Management. Upon graduation I began my career with the North Carolina State Parks system.
