Nancy Eisenbeis Gorr grew up in Pittsburgh, PA, graduating from Mt. Lebanon High School and later Carnegie Institute of Technology (now Carnegie Mellon University;) where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Psychology.
