I grew up in New York surrounded by art and music, but it wasn't until I retired to Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia, with my husband that I was able to pursue my dream of creating art.   I started painting using primarily pastels, but now enjoy working in oils.   I’m particularly interested in figurative gestures, and am always on the lookout for interesting people to paint.   I still find the Virginia landscape wonderfully inspiring, and also continue to paint the beaches of Long Island and the coast of Maine.   I have received numerous awards including First Place at the League of...more
