I learned my love of art and crafting from my mom. Rug hooking, macramé, cross stitch, we tried it all while I was growing up. I took many art classes in college and graduate school, while earning degrees in Graphic Design, Biology, and Landscape Architecture. My favorite mediums to work in are Pen and Ink, watercolor, photography, and colored pencil. My world changed in 2006 when I lost my 16-year-old daughter to suicide.
