What's it about you may ask? It's about value, how it works, where it is and how to create it. I'm a philosopher and I dabble in art. I got interested in art while working on my book. There's nothing so peaceful and fulfilling as brushing on paint or scratching with a piece of charcoal or oil pencil. Looking at art and trying to figure out what the artist had in mind, if anything, when they created their artwork is almost as satisfying. I'm unashamedly a fan of the Renaissance artists, and of skill in art, rather than marketing. I wish I had their kind of skill. Those old Renaissance guys have never been beaten. I love chalk drawings, ink drawings, and oh .... just about everything they did.
