Breast Cancer Fine Art Fundraiser

This blog is to announce a Fine Art Breast Cancer Fundraising Campaign for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) - Sponsored by Ebel Originals.

Hubert (Hugh) Ebel, also known as Herb, is a Washington State artist that has generated this campaign in an effort to raise funding for the NBCF. Mr. Ebel has donated the first $100 himself. Mr. Ebel has also committed to donating 10 percent of all proceeds from his online art gallery for the month of October of 2012.

The donation process is fast, easy, and secure. We truly appreciate any support you can provide; no amount is too small.

There are several ways you can help:

A) Help Mr. Ebel reach his goal by sharing this page on Facebook and Twitter! Or, even better, send an e-mail to friends or colleagues you think might be interested in contributing and include a link to Mr. Ebel’s NBCF page, www.stayclassy.orghebeloriginals.

B) Run a mini-campaign by holding a drawing, silent auction or raffle for an H. Ebel original painting or print. Mr. Ebel has created a collection of four acrylic paintings that address the devastation of hair loss women experience during treatment of breast cancer. To start, order an awareness painting or print from, Once you receive the art piece, raffle or auction it off and then donate the proceeds to the NBCF at, www.stayclassy.orghebeloriginals.

C) Search Ebay for "Breast Cancer Fine Art" and bid on one of the four works Mr. Ebel created for this effort.

There are four paintings to choose from:

1) Growing my hair for Mama! This painting is of a young girl that is growing her hair so she can make a wig for her mother who is going through treatment.
2) Violet – This fine art painting represents a woman who has complete hair loss at this point in her treatment.

3) Have Faith – Inspired by the Faith Hill video Breathe. This painting represents the early stages of hair loss. Notice the hair in her right hand and falling to the ground.

4) Serenity – This work of art by Mr. Ebel represents a woman who is meditating as an effort to calm herself as she realizes the loss of her hair. Again, notice the strands of hair in her right hand.
The National Breast Cancer Foundation's mission is to save lives by increasing awareness of breast cancer through education and by providing mammograms for those in need. NBCF programs provide women help for today and hope for tomorrow.

Together we can make a difference so thanks in advance for your support of this effort!
