Dog Gone It

Note: this is an article I sent to my email list subscribers on June 26, 2016.

I write to you this day with great sadness and emotion.

You see, on Sunday the 26th my seven year old King Shepherd Dog, Strudel, passed away.

This came as a total surprise to all of us.

The Vet said she had a mass in her spleen that ruptured. This condition, we have learned, is almost impossible to detect. Click here to learn more about it.

Some people who do not have a dog may not understand when I say that dog's are family too.

Strudel was a true sweetheart, and many people would tell us, when they met her, how she was the best dog anyone could ever ask for.

I am very grateful and have been blessed to have known Strudel, and learned much from her about caring, compassion, and unconditional love.

She came to us as a rescue. I like to rescue dog's because, when you love them with leadership they know the difference. They give you back, in gratitude, so much more than you give them.

View the pictures below in tribute her beautiful life.

May Strudel rest in peace.

If you don't see the weekly email from me Thursday, it's because I've taken some time to collect my thoughts, etc.

God bless your day.

Frank
