I didn’t sleep at all last night and I can't even describe the pain I have been in. It's kind of like the electric feeling you get when you hit your "funny bone" only it doesn’t go away! I am so tired tonight it was actually difficult to paint this painting. Ironically, I think this is my favorite one so far (and January 1, 2009)!! I guess perhaps there is some truth that out of great pain, great art comes? I’m still keeping up with the video blogs every night and hope to have them online as well. I have also figured out to take the picture without a flash, since they are still wet the glare makes it difficult to see everything without manipulating the photo.

So here is some of what happened today..

The EU and Russia have sent delegations to the Middle East as the situation in Gaza worsens.

Gov. Bill Richards, slated to become the new commerce secretary for the incoming Barack Obama administration has withdrawn his nomination, it seems like there is already an undercurrent of possible corruption.

And again for the American football fans, the Baltimore Ravens won their playoff game against Miami! I’m still waiting to write about them winning the Superbowl soon!!
