Today we woke up and as we started to head to work the car wouldn’t start. I has a similar problem a week or so ago so I checked the battery. When I did, there was so much corrosion on the battery I am surprised it ever started. AAA cam and gave me a jump start but I think I will have to replace something soon. Unfortunately from one of our many pothole encounters, we also need a new tire (or 2). We’re getting all that tomorrow, if the car starts.

In the news today, Iran’s army and Revolutionary Guard staged large-scale air-defense war games to show off the country’s deterrence capabilities over its nuclear program; the federal agency in charge of product safety announced the recall of 2.1 million cribs, citing defective hardware that can cause toddlers and infants to suffocate; Senate Democrats voted to move ahead with the debate on the health care reform bill.

327 down, 38 to go!
