About the Colour 'Purple':

• The color purple is often associated with royalty, nobility, luxury, power, and ambition.
• Purple, represents: wealth, extravagance, creativity, wisdom, dignity, grandeur, devotion, peace, pride, mystery, independence, and magic.
• Color purple symbolizes loyalty and trust
• Purple/lavender represents beauty and femininity.
• Purple is associated spirituality, the sacred, higher self, passion, third eye, fulfillment, and vitality. Purple helps align oneself with the whole of the universe.
• VIOLET/PURPLE governs the CROWN chakra, at the top of the head.
• Purple: Worn during the Advent and Lent seasons, purple reflects sorrow and suffering. Sorrow as the faithful await the arrival of the Savior and suffering to mark Jesus Christ's 40 days in the desert (Lent).
• The soldiers dressed Jesus in a purple robe and put a crown of thorns on His head, thus mocking him in purple.
• It is also worn at funerals because of its connection to mourning.
