Contest Rules

DISPLAYA-INTRADA CONTEST 9 FOR NEWBIES ON FAA.

AIM OF THIS CONTEST SERIES:

The aim of this contest series is to create a platform for Newbies on FAA to display their
Artwork, Photography or Digital Art to a wider viewdience and to possibly generate sales from it.

Rules Of The Contest:

1. Only Newbies On FAA may enter. All artists that Joined On and Since January the 1st 2020 can submit entries. Any other entry uploaded prior to January the 1st 2020
will be removed as soon as possible or alternatively will be disqualified immediately. Please Note that this contest is an Adjudicated contest and like all my previous and
present contest series on FAA is adjudicated only by myself. I do spend a lot of time and effort on the Adjudication process which can take up to seven days.

2. Display any three entries which you would like to enter. ANY THEME AND MEDIA GOES except that mentioned in rule 3.
Each Contestant can upload up to three (3) entries. Can be all of the same category or mixed.

3. Avoid Family Hostile images. Such entries will be removed without ceremony whatsoever as soon as possible.
Avoid Bad Language, Nudity, Genitalia and Explicit Sexual images of any orientation.

4. Placement Allocation:

4.1 One Top Placement will be reserved for Traditional Original Art like Oils, Acrylics, Watercolors, Inks, Drawings, Collages, Mixed Media etc.
4.2 One Top Placement will be reserved for Photographs. (Color, Black and White, Selective Color)
4.3 One Top Placement will be reserved for Digital Art. (Computer Created Art)

I will make a shortlist of each participating category above, select a winner for that category, and then select a final placement for each. It is therefore possible for any excellent entry to be awarded the top prize in this contest.

5. You MUST visit my art portfolio and click on Follow Me AND THEN MAKE at least one constructive comment on any artwork you like. (More Than 7000 to choose from.) Obviously on consequent contests you ONLY need to make a comment on any artwork on my art portfolio. This rule is only applicable on this contest series as it is Aimed at Fresh Artists and Newbies on FAA. Should you decide to ignore this rule your actions (as a Newbie) in this contest, will be seriously frowned upon. Should you not like this rule then do not join this contest and rather search for any other contest on FAA's Contest Index List. 6. I dearly would like to make constructive and encouraging comments on all the fantastic entries I receive to my contests but due to time constraints
it is practically not possible. I therefore rather try to target a small selected number of artists and artworks with each contest to make comments on.
In any case, a big thank you to all participants/contestants for submitting such a wonderful and fantastic spectrum of artworks with every contest. I do notice
and appreciate everyone's efforts and entries. I would like to say it again and again as so many times in the past that due to the very high quality of
entries submitted to my contests that; adjudication from the final shortlists in each category are sometimes done with a hair breadth's difference between
the top entries. Rest assured, that should you place in my contests, you can know that you have submitted a top notch and outstanding artwork.

7. Contests will run in two weekly periods from Saturdays To Saturdays With One week allowed for Adjudication.(DV)

9. Although I will always (DV) enter three entries to these contests It will not be taken into consideration during the adjudication process. I only enter to claim fair exposure through the interest the contest may generate. Rule 1
is not applicable here to me as I am the contest organizer and sole adjudicator. Pun: (As the old saying goes - Judge, Jury and Executioner.)

10. Like all my previous contests series on FAA in the past, this contest and contest series will be Adjudicated by myself.

13. FAA Contests allows for three prizes to be allotted. I reserve these for the winners in the three categories as described in rule 4 (Placement Allocation). In addition to that I will announce any other placements IN EACH CATEGORY in the Discussion Section. A second placement will qualify for an imaginary Silver certificate, a Third placement will qualify for an imaginary Bronze Certificate, a fourth placement will qualify for an imaginary purple certificate and a fifth placement for an imaginary green certificate. As sole adjudicator I also reserve the right to make honorable mentions.
