Winged Creatures With Blue In Their Bodies Or Wing...

The challenge is moderated, entries not meeting the requirements will be removed without notification.

RULES:
- All media (If submitting a photo of a sculpture, the sculpture must be your own work)
- Creature must have WINGS
- Mythical Beasts welcome provided they meet the criteria below
- Must have BLUE colouring in the body or wings - BLUE in the background does not count
- No humans, human parts or humanoids in the image - as in NO PEOPLE!
- No dead / dying / distressed / caged / confined / pinned creatures
- No ducklings / chicks/ baby birds / eggs / caterpillars / chrysalis / cocoons etc. - MUST have an Adult winged creature in the image
- The winged creature must be RECOGNISABLE - as in NO ABSTRACT IMAGES
- The winged creature must be the PRIMARY FOCUS of the image - not a distant spot somewhere in the image, unless it is a flock of birds
- No statues/ornaments/jewelry/flags/logos/emblems of winged creatures

* Angel Holding Flowers : no angels or other winged humans accepted - does not meet contest rules
* Tiger Swallowtail- Enjoying The Sweetness : no blue in the butterfly which is required - does not meet contest rules
* Pelicans In Motion Landing At Ocracoke Island North Carolina : can't see any blue in the pelicans themselves - does not meet contest rules
* Potted Babies : Birds are confined in a bowl - conflicts with the contest rules
* Harriet The Harrier : although a gorgeous image, can't see any blue in the Harrier - does not meet contest rules
* Butterfly's All Day : can't see any blue in the Butterfly - does not meet contest rules
* Dragonfly Tag : can't see any blue in the dragonflies that's not part of the background - does not meet contest rules
* Beauty Knows No Time : no humans to be in the image at all - does not meet contest rules
* Reflect : there's no blue in the bird - does not meet contest rules
* Deep Sea Dragon : great abstract, but the winged creature must be recognisable - does not meet contest rules
* Cocky : no blue in the rooster - does not meet contest rules
* So What's For Dinner? : no blue in the seagulls - does not meet the contest rules
* Magical Jellyfish : no humans to be in the image at all - does not meet contest rules
* Masquerade Mask : not recognisable as a winged creature - does not meet the rules
* Gargoyles Appearance : not recognisable enough for this contest - does not meet the rules

Each participant may submit 1 image.

1)   Votes may be cast by any visitor to FineArtAmerica.com (members and non-members).

2)   You may only vote once per image.

3)   You may vote for as many images as you like... but only once for any given image.
