The dirty, coarse, raw and the wild, untamed & ecstatic. Punk Rock is beat & beatific. These paintings are a visual counterpart to the musical anarchy of Punk Rock. Portraits & scenes of punk life produced by the synthesis of technique, material & subject. Crude burlap, three chords; Alizarin Crimson, Cadmium Yellow & Ultramarine and wild abandon. The look & feel of the paintings is the same aesthetic as an old spiky jacket. Real & raw with unrestrained attitude.

Portraits of old & young punks show a youth movement that stays young in spirit & that non conformity is a way of life. Scenes portray the live energy of punk concerts and allegories on society & conformity. The paintings record & give insight into the life & ethos of punk.
