Have you ever wished your baby could tell you what they wanted without tears? Has your child shown a flair for the dramatic? Have you ever wanted to be able to communicate with a deaf friend or relative? I have a workshop for that!

FOR ONE DAY ONLY Monday November 19, 2012 Sign Language workshops for all ages.

Mommy and Me Baby Signs:
9:00am - 9:45am $15
Bring your infant ages 8 months to 24 months and learn simple signs that you can teach your child so they can communicate their needs to you before they learn to talk! Signs such as "eat, bottle, more, play" and so many others will help you communicate with your precious little one.

Mommy and Me:
10am - 11am $20
Learn fun signs that your child ages 2 to 5 years can use in everyday situations. Have you ever told your little one to hush when they screamed out in the bank "I HAVE TO GO POTTY!", or in the grocery store when they keep insisting "I'M HUNGRY!" Helping your little one to learn signs like "toilet/rest room, hungry and thirsty" can alleviate potentially embarrassing situations. By the same token words such as "quiet, stop it and wait" can be used to get a child to settle in public with nonverbal sign language.

Student Sign Choir
3:30pm - 5:00pm $20
Do you have an active child? Do they play conductor when the music is playing? Do they twirl, spin and dance for no reason? Sign Choir is a fun way to channel their creative energies. This workshop is for school aged children from 1st grade through 12th grade. (the only requirement is children must know their right hand from their left)
Your student will learn to sign a song in this workshop and will perform it at the conclusion for the parents.

Introduction to ASL
6:30 pm - 8:00pm $20
This is a class for students of all ages. This intense course will introduce you to the 3rd most popular language spoken in the USA. We will touch on the history of American Sign Language and learn everyday signs that you can begin to use immediately.

Advanced ASL
5:00 pm - 6:30 pm $20
This workshop is for advanced students who have completed the book "The Joy of Signing" or for those who wish to observe a more advanced course of study. It will be fast paced and intense so put on your seat belts. There may even be a TEST!
(students taking this workshop are invited to stay for the next workshop, which begins at 6:30, for only $5 more)
