Traces -- an exhibit of photography by Tom Stephens and Frank Myers

Traces is a two-man show that explores remnants -- of meaning (Tom Stephens) and of former buildings (Frank Myers). The images by Tom are about text in a social or natural context -- evocative, mysterious, thought-provoking. Each image reveals at least a trace of meaning, meaning that the viewer has to puzzle out. The images by Frank convey traces of past lives and hidden beauty in locations ranging from an abandoned prison in Philadelphia to a ghost town in Northwestern Ontario. The exhibit brochure poses some questions that each image may evoke; we are sure you will have other questions and meanings to suggest.
