Work in watercolor on Masa Paper. Whether you are a beginner or advanced student, working on Masa paper will challenge your creativity. Students will paint what inspires them in the textures they see created with the paper, and initial underpainting. Leaves, Koi, flowers, rocks with water, what ever the painting tells you it needs to be.. Learn the basics about this medium/technique so you can go home and explore more on your own.
Bring your paints, and brushes, as well as some inspirational photos, that can be the inspiration, not the bible for reference for these paintings.
Instructor will demonstrate, and students will then give it a go themselves on their own work. The goal of this class is to learn the application of technique and use of materials, not to create a "masterpiece". It is a time to learn and explore.
Bring your paints and brushes or use studio supplies in class, then go home and play, play, play.
This is a one day class for $65
