The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Artist's Description
AIDS boy. Five year old African HIV positive boy showing swollen lymph glands (lymphadenopathy) in the armpit due to nephrotic syndrome. This is a form of kidney damage, caused here by Kaposi's sarcoma, a type of cancer common in AIDS patients. AIDS (acquired immune deficiency syndrome) is a disease caused by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). It can be passed from a mother to her baby during pregnancy, and causes weakening of the immune system. This allows a variety of opportunistic infections to take hold, and makes normally harmless infections life threatening. In Africa, lack of access to drugs and information makes AIDS a major problem.
