MODEL RELEASED. Audiometry test. Audiometrist testing a patient's hearing. The machine on the desk is being used to generate a range of sounds of varying amplitude (volume) and frequency (tone). The patient, listening through headphones, is indicating that she can still hear the sound. By finding the point at which the patient can no longer hear the sound, the audiometrist can produce an audiogram showing the range of the patient's hearing. Photographed at the ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) department at the Fondation Rothschild, Paris, France.
