My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Thank you Mary Flore

Beautiful picture. Grew up on northshore so wanted something from there. Metal picture really shows the colors and picture quality is very clear.

This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

Artist's Description
Although a historically eastern US species these guys found their way out west and have become well established. Unfortunately for them where there range overlaps with the endangered Spotted Owls they are being shot, mostly in western Oregon and California. Luckily for this guy he is here in Central Oregon where the Spotted Owls do not occur.

Retiring in 2011, he returned to photography which he developed a love for in the early 70’s but could never seem to find time for. His photos have been featured on the cover of Bee Culture Magazine, in Range Magazine, and the 2010 book Capture Central Oregon. He recently had a showing at Smith Rock State Park. Very nice image Gary! I deal with these raptors all the time, and they are plentiful in our area and great fun to watch and photograph.

Thanks Gail...this guy has been hanging out at some friends place, so I build a nest box and am hoping he/she finds a mate and uses it.
