It was a gift for a friend who has worked on these rigs. It’s now in his own company facility. He loves it.

It would be very helpful to know what the # s correspond to.
Even those who normally have little interest in aicraft have heard of this plane--the P-51 Mustang. The top and middle pictures are of a Mustang dubbed “Grim Reaper.” Along the left side of the fuselage is the symbol of Nazi Germany, the swastika. Whether shooting down Japanese Zeros in the Pacific Theatre or Messerschmitts over Europe, pilots would place one enemy insignia on the fuselage for each kill. Send five enemy aircraft to their grave and you are an “Ace.” At the bottom left are Mustangs “Kimberly Kay” (foreground) and “Comfortably Numb” which was once owned by the drummer for the band “Pink Floyd.” The Mustang was already a superior aircraft, but It was the switch to the Rolls Royce Merlin engine that made it the plane that won the war.
A commercial, multi-engine, instrument rated pilot and well-reputed aviation and rodeo photographer, John is a staple at rodeos, air races, air shows, and just about anywhere aviation and rodeo lovers congregate. His images adorn walls and tabletops worldwide. A New York native, John now lives in the San Francisco Bay Area. When John is not shooting rodeo and aircraft he also enjoys shooting sports, cityscapes, and landscapes. You will also find images from other events, such as concerts and landscapes. John works full time on the technical side of the legal and compliance world. With a profession like that you can well imagine why he would need a creative outlet and is likely why he speaks of himself in the second-person.
