This original painting went to a show in Monrovia, Liberia for three years.
About Joyce Owens
Joyce Owens Biography Owens recently was commissioned by the landmark Blackstone Hotel in Chicago. She was commissioned by two patrons for "Not Just nother Pretty Face" at the Hyde Park Art Center in 2017. She has exhibited her work in Turin, Italy and has been included in the Arts In Embassies Program in Stockholm, Sweden, Mbabane, Swaziland, NATO, in Brussels, Belgium, Monrovia, Liberia and Guyana. The traveling exhibition, "Chicago Artists Interpret Shakespeare: As They Like It" opened Oct. 1, 2016 at the Fourth Presbyterian Church on Michigan Ave. in Chicago, IL., and has been presented at the Beverly Arts Center in Chicago, Carthage College in Wisconsin and Bowling Green University in Ohio.
