I love the artwork, a great rendering of the Apollo 11 astronauts which is timely going into the 50th anniversary of their historic mission. It has become a treasured addition to my space collection at my office in the Mission Control complex at Johnson Space Center!

I am a Wiccan priest in the service of Kuan Yin, Goddess of Compassion and Mercy; and consequently have seen many pictures and statues of Her. But your picture is the best of Her that I have ever seen. I have given the two coffee mugs I ordered to two of the people that I am caring for in Her name.

Just love them. We are friends with Doug and are avid bird watchers, and he is a talented artist.

However, his feeling exactly reflects what people should think when looking at rock photomicrographs such as in the micROCKscopica galleries. I am a Geologist at the University of Padova, Italy. I work with rocks and make extensive use of micro- and macrophotography to describe the subjects of my studies and their morphological features. As a photographer with artistic intent, my rock photomicrographs have been displayed in photo galleries, at mineralogical and scientific exhibits and in Natural Sciences...
