About Warren Gaylor
About me: I attended the Vancouver School of Art in the mid-1950’s and studied privately with various Canadian artists while still living in the North. Among those with whom I studied was the late J.B Taylor, head of the Art Department at the University of Alberta in Edmonton who became a great inspiration to me. In 1961, I moved from Canada to California. After retiring and moving to the Californian desert in 1999, I started exploring my craft by choosing media other than oil, and began working with acrylics, watercolors, pastels and collage.
