Description

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

This painting was done in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It is a fantasy and, also, a continuation of my fascination with brick, cement blocks and pipes. The askew white retangle, a consequence of a twisted column of bricks, may represent a window, the opening of a chimney, or the bottom of a well. A sculptural fenestration of trumpet-like pipes sets off the masonry. This painting is part of my on-going "Bosque Series".

My paintings are acrylics on wood panels. I am fascinated by organic form and color. My subjects are mostly plants, especially trees. In doing my art, I find that other organic forms, frequently suggestive of animals and people, subliminally appear in the paintings. I call this emergence of form, as others have, biomorphic art - literally “life-form” art. I love to paint. The act of painting transcends for me the subject of the painting. Bright colors, especially the three primaries - red, yellow, and blue - are integral to my art.
