The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Artist's Description
Crude oil tanker. Workers on the walkway leading to the engine of a Suezmax crude carrier being built in a dry-dock. Suezmax carriers are so-called as they are the maximum size of vessel able to navigate the Suez Canal. They are generally between 120,000 to 200,000 deadweight metric tones (DWT). These ships typically have a double-walled hull to help minimise the leakage of oil from the tanks, or the entrance of water, in the event of an accident. Crude oil carriers are among the largest tankers, with ultra-large crude carriers (ULCCs) reaching over 440,000 deadweight metric tons (DWT). Photographed at Samsung Heavy Industries, Korea, the world's second largest shipyard.
