Love the painting and the rich colorful blues, reds, greens, & yellows! A nice addition to our cowboy/southwest decor vibe.

Beautifully expressed rendition of the Shrine of the Bab. The frame and matting showcase the print. We have it prominently on our living room wall with other sacred pictures.

I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.
Artist's Description
Dead tree found in Kolob Canyon in Zion National Park, Utah. I find there is a gracefulness in the flow of the branches. The tree has been struck by lightning and the top has been torn away leaving the fresh wood to be aged by the elements. The smoothness of the rock is a good contrast to the ruggedness of the tree.
About Inger Hutton
When I was about 10 years and my brother in law was working on a silk screen of a hand holding a deck of cards. To my surprise he said the hand would be the easiest part. He was following the outer contour of the hand while even then I was seeing the fingerprints, wrinkles and creases. Today more than 50 years later that is still my focus. In the forest, I am the one who is likely to find the delicate mushroom tucked under the log we just stepped over. The beauty in the fine detail of nature is still the focus of my art and I love to reflect that beauty in my art.
