Prints are lovely, shipping was exorbitant. I ordered from an Irish artist’s (Val Byrne) website, to be delivered to an Irish address, and it wasn’t until completing the order that I saw shipping was going to be 55 pounds sterling. It was not immediately clear from the artist’s website that the prints would ship from anywhere far away enough to justify such a cost, nor that the order would be fulfilled by a third party in America.

I spent the last day of the year floating down the Skagit River in Washington. It was cold, but the sun was out providing great light for capturing eagles. There was an eagle on the bank of the river eating a salmon, when this guy flew in to chase away the other eagle.
