A little disappointed. I thought it would be a much more realistic/accurate picture; instead it is a heavily pixilated reproduction but still reasonably satisfied

The fox has always been my spirit animal, and this particular piece by Nic really captures the essence of that connection. Ironically, about four years ago I purchased a painting that could have been The Fox and the Forest's brother from another mother. That painting now hangs in my bedroom as a companion to this work. She is described as having "a head full of ideas, imaginary places, and quirky creatures . . ." The Fox and the Forest is a perfect combination of the imaginary and the quirky.

I lived in a little trailer out just north of the Everglades near Corkscrew Swamp. It was my paradise. I spent the better part of my youth drawing, painting, tracking and photographing the wildlife in and around...
