Description

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

Rapamycin immunosuppressant drug molecule. Electron-density model of a molecule of the immunosuppressant drug rapamycin, also known as sirolimus. It is mainly used to prevent rejection in organ transplantation, and is used in kidney transplants. It also has anti-fungal and anti-cancer properties, and was originally derived from soil bacteria found on Easter Island. The chemical formula is C51.H79.N.O13. The atoms are represented here as colour-coded blobs carbon (green), hydrogen (white), nitrogen (blue) and oxygen (red).
